Get To Know Aimi Matcha

Matcha is more than a green drink. Where the leaf is grown, when it’s picked and how it’s made all shape what ends up in your cup. Our collection brings together two single-origin, ceremonial grade matchas from two of Japan’s most respected tea regions: Uji in Kyoto and Yame in Fukuoka. Both are made from hand-picked first-harvest leaves, and each has its own character. Here is what makes them special.

What makes our matcha ceremonial grade?

Ceremonial grade is the highest quality category of matcha, made for drinking on its own, whisked with water, or in a latte. First flush means the leaves come from the first harvest of the season, which is why we use them. Every matcha we offer is also single origin and hand-picked, so you know exactly where it comes from.
